Eucalyptus facial steam to improve circulation

As promised…

Today I want to discuss one of my favorite ways to help increase circulation, hydrate, and soften the outer layer of your skin with facial steaming!

Facial steaming is considered a gentle, natural alternative to harsh exfoliating treatments…

I love it because it’s an effective at-home treatment you can do yourself.

It’s amazing for oily and acne-prone skin, making it easier to release dirt and oil trapped beneath the surface…

And a great way to help absorb skin products more efficiently.

The temperature of the steam also helps increase circulation, giving you glowing, radiant-looking skin.

Ready to give it a try?

Here’s my recipe for a Eucalyptus Facial Steam:

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 CUPS OF WATER
  • 2-3 DROPS OF EUCALYPTUS ESSENTIAL OIL

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Boil the water and pour it into a bowl.
  2. Add Eucalyptus essential oil to the water and then cover to allow the mixture to steep for about five minutes.
  3. Place a towel around your head, creating a tent above the bowl of water.
  4. Be sure to keep your face about ten inches from the water.
  5. Sit and relax for 10 minutes, allowing the steam to open your nasal passages.
  6. Rinse your face with tepid water and pat dry.

Now here’s something important to note.

Eucalyptus is one of my favorite oils to use for facial steams. (But please be careful about using any others. Not all essential oils are good for your skin.)

Eucalyptus has the ability to help clear mucus, and relieve symptoms of congestion, asthma, and bronchitis…

It also has antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties when it comes to skincare.

Please feel free to let me know if you try my recipe or if you have a favorite you want me to try.

Stay Beautiful~
