4 beauty hacks hiding in your home

Today, I wanted to share some of my favorite beauty hacks with you.

Ones that I know you already have at home!

They’re a little unconventional, but I swear they work.

Alright! Let’s get started.

  1. DIY nut hair mask

Here’s an easy mask you can do right in the shower! All you need is a tablespoon of coconut oil, work it into your hair, and leave it on for 5-10 minutes.

The coconut oil sinks into your hair follicles protecting them from the stripping agents in your shampoo, leaving your hair smooth and silky after your wash!

Say goodbye to frizz without stepping into a salon for an expensive keratin treatment.

  1. All-natural “vinegar” toner

Did you know one of the most powerful toners is… in your kitchen?

That’s right. One of the best and gentlest toners for your delicate skin is apple cider vinegar. It gently strips your skin of harmful bacteria and can even prevent blemishes!

All you have to do is pour some onto a clean cotton pad and apply it to your T-Zone.

  1. Super-hydrate your skin… in the bath!

If you suffer from dry, flaky skin in the winter months… you’re not alone.

And I know that sometimes, no matter how much moisturizer you slather on, you still find your skin scaly.

Introducing…

The super-hydrating at home oatmeal bath.

Now, I know this sounds crazy. But all you do is pour a ⅓ of a cup of oatmeal into your bath water to soothe irritated, dry, itchy, and red skin.

The reason oatmeal is so powerful is because it’s chock full of specific fats that act as natural lubricants which deeply moisturize dry skin.

  1. Faux manicure nails

When you’re between nail appointments, or you’re opting for the all-natural look…

There’s nothing worse than seeing off-white nail beds.

Now, yellow nails can happen for a variety of reasons. One of the main ones is that when you do wear nail polish, you are preventing your nail bed from breathing.

So what’s a girl to do to rock the all-natural nail?

Whitestrips.

Yes. The ones you would use for your teeth.

Hydrogen peroxide is the main ingredient in these Whitestrips, and it does way more than whiten teeth! Thankfully, it’s in a super safe formula – it won’t damage your nails!

I’m so excited for you to try these.
